Summit has announced the casting for numerous characters for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, including various Covens and Nomads.  Here is the press release with photos. Click the links for each actors IMDb page. I am still hunting for verification on who a few of the actors are and didn’t want to post the wrong info.

Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles in The Amazon Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven and The Romanian Coven as well as the American and European Nomads as outlined below.

——

THE AMAZON COVEN
· The Amazon Coven is comprised of Tracey Heggins as Senna and Judi Shekoni as Zafrina.

· Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe.  They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.

——

THE EGYPTIAN COVEN
· The Egyptian Coven is comprised of:
o Omar Metwally (RENDITION, MUNICH) as Amun.
o Andrea Gabriel (Lost, House) as Kebi.
o Rami Malek (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) as Benjamin.
o Angela Sarafyan (LOVE HURTS, THE GOOD GUYS) as Tia.

· The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.

——

THE IRISH COVEN
· The Irish Coven is comprised of Marlane Barnes (THE TREE OF LIFE) as Maggie, Lisa Howard as Siobhan and Patrick Brennan as Liam.

· The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized.

——

THE ROMANIAN COVEN
· The Romanian Coven is comprised of Noel Fisher (THE PACIFIC, FINAL DESTINATION 2) as Vladimir and Guri Weinberg (MUNICH) as Stefan.

· The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi.  For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.

——

THE AMERICAN NOMADS
· The American Nomads are comprised of:
o Lee Pace as Garrett (Pushing Daisies, THE GOOD SHEPHERD).
o Toni Trucks (MUSIC AND LYRICS) as Mary.
o Bill Tangradi (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) as Randall.
o Erik Odom as Peter.
o Valorie Curry (Veronica Mars) as Charlotte.

· Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends.

· Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires.

· Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates.  They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player.  They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.

——

THE EUROPEAN NOMADS
· The European Nomads are comprised of Joe Anderson (THE CRAZIES) as Alistair

· A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority.  Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.

At first glance, I am most excited to see Lee Pace as Garrett (although many of you were not excited about that casting) and Joe Anderson as Alistair.

  • Brittany

Haha 10 hours per movie.. Instead of an hour and a half or two hours. Yeah, I'd definitely watch 10 hours of them all. Haha

  • Lizzie Lawless

    WOO! LEE PACE :D :D

  • chelsea

not to mention that victoria's wig was hideously disgusting! looked soooo fake!

  • Mili

i agree the movies aren't like the books!!!! i love it all no matter what, BD is going to be better then any other movie thats going to be out around that time!!! love you Edward!!

  • Analee_r35

Okay, I Know it might Just be a little too late to say this, But..to me personally, I definitly agree with the ones that are saying ''Yes of course they cant put EVERYTHING in the movie from the book''. I'm only 14 years old and I have read all 4 books, the books show more emmotion and more detail and more feeling than the movies and I'll admitt they're were some scenes that i wish would've showed up in the book, But, i thought the move was perfect! : <3

  • BB

♥Leo Pace♥ Not sure who the others are, but it doesn't matter too much. They're not the focus of the books.

  • Angela Marie

I have personally been disappointed by all 3 of them so far and expect the same with the forth I LOVED the books but the movies have been lacking I understand the budget for the first wasent that big but they could of done more with what they had.

  • gaeleenpotts

I THINK THAT ALL 3 MOVES WERE FANTASIK I HAVE 1&2 AND CAN NOT WATE TO BYE THE 3rd ONE..I THINK THE NEXT ONE WILL EVAN BE BETER YOU CAN NOT PLEASE SUME PPL AT TIMES I WILL GIVE ALL MY HEART TO THE LOT OF THE MOVES CAN NOT WHAT TO SEE THE NEXT ONE SO THANK'S TO ALL THAT MADE THE MOVEYS AND ALL THE CAST IN THE MOVEYS WELL DUN,,,,,,

  • gaeleenpotts

I LOVE ALL 3 MOVEYS AND CAN NOT WHAT FOR THE NEXT ONE,I DUS NOT MATER HOW THAY PICK AS LONG AS EDWOOD,,JACOB,,& BELLA ARE STILL IN IT I WHONT TO THANK ALL THE PPL INVOLV IN THE MAKING THE MOVEYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • Crimson_1687

I do think that Senna and Zafrina will be perfect! Maggie, Amun, Kebi and Benjamin suit the Egyptians but Tia is SO miscast! She's going to stand out like a sore thumb in a group that are supposed to look like biological family. I think the Romanians are cast perfectly but they're going to need to make them look older than the Volturi. I think the American coven are all wrong and Alistair is supposed to be much older than Carlyle and the person they've picked isn't mature enough in the face.

  • Crimson_1687

I also think the Victoria that was in Eclipse is way better than the first (I mean way better suited) and can't STAND the fact that they casted Dakota Fanning as Jane. Jane (and her twin) are supposed to be black!

  • Ckcarder

Think the people chosen will make a great addition to the Twilight Saga! Can hardly wait to see it on screen!!!!

  • Katt

I agree with you guys…….but the thing that made it worst was that bella made me mad throw out new moon but worst in eclipse……she actted like a told stuck up snub and heart less…..speically when she made the comments to alice and edward through out the movie…..it was like she was just tired of being around them and wanted to be with jacob most of the time…hell if she likes jacob so much she should of went with him and stop torturing edward with all the mind games. i think i felt more sorry of edward he just stays cause he loves her and would do anything for her so he is putting up with it….oh and i liked the old victoria too…..to bad she lost the fight…..so i hope that breaking dawn is a little better……

  • Chris

It's still the same writer, so unfortunately I believe I will still be disappointed in BD.

  • cynthia

i love this! why cant i get casted in a part? comm'on!

  • Kstepp

it looks like an ok group of vampires….breaking dawn was my favorite of the 4 books, and i hope that, in splitting it between 2 movies, that they don't leave anything out this time around :P don't get me wrong, the movies are good, just not as good as they could have been…i wish joe anderson had a more involved character than alistair..alistair spends most of his time in the attic:( i love joe anderson in across the universe..haven't seen the crazies yet, unfortunately.. :P

i LOVED lee pace in pushing daisies!!! he'll be a great garrett

  • TeamJacward_Original

Out of all the movies, Eclipse was the best. However, in the movie Bella was just horrible. I mean she would never treat Edward like that, it honestly looked like she had no love for him, which in the books, she can't live without him. How do they go from her falling apart in the 2nd movie, to that? Ughh, otherwise I actually really liked Eclipse :)

  • Poopstick

The entire Twilight franchise is becoming more of a disappointment as it progresses forward.

  • SoFaD123

the movies are awesome especially eclipse. i loved some of the lines thth they added in that were funny and are lines that the characters would accually say. alot of the actors are different than i pictures them but i think that it will work. alister looks alot like i pictured him and garret is pretty close to how i pictured him just a bit younger than the actor picked to i canna wait to see BD and see all the characters in costume.

  • Badgirl

I agree with alot of you as far as Alister and the Romainians I thought they would be old vampires but the Volturi weren't what I pictured either and they worked out alright. I am curious about how they are going to handle things that they neglected to mention in any of the other movies. Such as Irina and Peter and Charolette. The lack of mention of the Denali's and the nomads may be a hard obstical to overcome for those who have never read the books.

  • s.irene

See, my sister and I believe that eclipse was better than the first

because it started out automatically interesting. It caught your attention rite off.

Twilight was a dissapointment. New moon was better….but only because taylor lautner

Was shirtless thru the whole thing…….the movies arnt portraying the books the right

Way but what movies do? I'm looking forward to see what bd turns out to be.

Who knows the cast might surprise you….or dissapoint you. But I guess you'll

    Just have to wait.

  • Homababy1990

i really dnt like the ppl who were playin edward and bella they picked suck other gud actors and actresses but those two they blew the whole movie for me and i have read the books a lot bella is to fidgity and edward just plain sucks they both r tryin way to hard

  • Briannat

All I want to say is that I really appreciate all of the pictures so that I can make an educated guess on what Breaking Dawn Part II is going to be like. Although part I fairly disappointed me.

  • Kathy

I just want to know when Breaking Dawn Part 2 Starts? Anyone Know?
