I live in France and I saw the movie yesterday. I must confess that I'm a little disapointed…I was expecting this movie so much!
The movie fits to the book, but some scenes are strange.
The weeding is gorgeous, even if Bella almost never smiles. Her dress is really beautiful, and Bella wears make-up! Their honeymoon is so romantic! The scene with the broken bed is funny…but that's it. Jacob is more mature is this movie. He acts like a man, and no more like a child. And became my favourite character. The delivery-scene is too strange. You see it from Bella's point of view, and in reality, you don't see nothing except some flashes of light…Edward is supposed to open the belly with his teeth, and he has no blood…well…I must confess that my favourite movie from now, is the third. I expect your comments tomorrow about it!

DANAIDE YOU NEED TO SEE THE MOVIE AGAIN.. THE BIRTH IS EXACTLY LIKE THE BOOK.. HE DOES RIP WITH THE TEETH AND THRE IS BLOOD, BUT IT IS BLURRY BUT IT IS THERE… IT COULDN'T BE SO UPFRONT FOR US TO WATCH DUE TO THE PG-13 RTING BUT HEAR IT AND YOU SEE HIM WITH THE BLOODY MOUTH… I LOVED IT IT FELT TRUE TO THE BOOK AND THEY NAILED THE PG-13…. HOPE THEY RELEASE AN UNCENSORED VERISON OR AN EXTENDED VERSION DVD :)

I am from Czech Republic and I saw the movie yesterday. I must say that I have a very similar view as the Danaide! I really enjoyed the movie and I was a bit disappointed. The wedding was amazing and touched me. Bella and Edward's first love is really in the book described a long, dramatic, but exciting … I was wondering how to advise the director and the scene lasted about 5 seconds. Previous films have taken me a lot more. I did not like the work of film director.

Cecilia, you're right. The birth is like the book. I never said the contrary. Meanwhile, the scene is longer in the book. I have the feeling that in the movie, a lot of details are cut.
The PG-13 rating is the cause of the censorship of some scenes (less blood, less romanticism…)
Well…the movie is good, I love the impregnation scene of Jacob with Renesme, but this movie is not my favorite.
Anyway…I can't wait to see the last one! Really!!
And, like you, I hope they will release an uncensored version! :)
